The former One Stop store which closed in October
2004 for refurbishment and takeover by Tesco Express.
Prior to One Stop, previous businesses of this building
included a Dillons store, a privately owned Newspaper
Shop, called 'Scotts Newsagents', who also used to sell
papers and perodicals on the RAF base.
The new store was opened on the 8th
November 2004. Lyneham Tesco Express is a single
unit of up to 1800 sq. ft, stocking well over 2500 lines,
including fresh and frozen food, pre-packaged foods,
a bakery and wines and spirits. The store will follow
the national trend of being very busy and it's a very
fast-moving, hands-on environment.
