This image taken on 10th January 2009,
showing Bradenstoke Abbey main porch following its
recent restoration over the last few months. Each brick
was painstakingly dismantled one by one and the inter-connecting
iron supports that trust the brickwork were removed
as they had corroded away and replaced with stainless
steel rods. The corridor of trees line the original
pathway to the Abbey entrance, blanketed by the overnight
frost. A very chilly morning, overnight temperatures
dropped down to -7°C.
