This image taken on 10th January 2009,
showing Bradenstoke Abbey exterior wall following
recent restoration over the last few months.
Each brick has been painstakingly dismantled one by
one and most of the inter-connecting iron supports
that truss the brickwork were removed as they had
corroded away with age and weathering and replaced
with new stainless steel rods. A very chilly morning,
overnight temperatures dropped down to -7°C,
resulting in the vegetation being blanketed by an overnight
