Victoria Drive - Elm Close

This aerial picture taken October 2003 shows Victoria Drive, Ash Close and Elm Close. These relatively new properties were part of the Preston Vale housing to be built by Bloor Homes of Swindon in 1990. The estate is commonly known as the Victoria Drive estate with tributary side cul-de-sac roads. Victoria Drive runs from the bottom left of the image meandering to the top right. Ash Close joins on the left with the three bright red cars. Elm Close joins approximately 100 metres further on the right hand side.

Britannia Close with the cream coloured terrace buildings at the top of the image, were former families accommodation for the MoD. These properties were part of the 57,600 national surplus married quarter purchase by Annington Homes in November 1996.
