This aerial picture taken October 2003
shows mainly Preston Lane and Argosy Road. Preston Lane
runs down clipping the top left hand corner of the image
to the junction of Argosy Road. This road was the former
senior ratings families married quarters before being
sold off for private dwellings.
Argosy Road joins Britannia Close with the cream coloured
buildings, again these houses were former families accommodation
for the MoD. These properties were part of the 57,600
national surplus married quarter purchase by Annington
Homes in November 1996.
