Lyneham Village North 2003

This aerial photo of the northern part of Lyneham was taken during the Autumn of 2003. Much of the fields were scorched following a summer of unseasonally warm and dry periods.

This image shows the meandering A3102 road approaching Lyneham from Wootton Bassett. The first building at the bottom of the image on the right hand side is The Folly. Grid reference at centre - SU 021 795 GB Grid.

The Old Vicarage is on the left hand side of the road about mid point of the image on the left hand side. Just above that is the Pound Close estate.
