Webbs Court, Pound Close, Bakers Field and Chippenham Road

This aerial picture taken October 2003 shows the newer housing estate of Webb's Court adjoined onto Pound Close. The image also shows Chippenham Road leading towards Bradenstoke. Grid reference at centre - SU 020 792 GB Grid.

The properties of Webbs Court were built in the 1990's to adjoin the Westlea l housing of Pound Close. There are some properties that have been bought privately.

Bakers Field, pictured in the bottom left, is a small housing estate was built opposite the Mallard pub, and these properties are always in constant demand for first time house buyers.

The majority of the trees bordering the A3102 Calne Road leading through the village are blanketing the view of Lyneham Green which was purchased by the Lyneham & Bradenstoke Parish Council in 2005. Lyneham Green House is situated in the top centre of the image.
