Paid
Website Research.
Enjoy looking around websites,
and fancy being paid for it! Homeowners
with environmental issues needed for paid website research.
The government
funded research sessions will take place in Chippenham
during
the daytime of 22nd & 23rd March
2007. Participants will
be paid £50 for
their time,
plus travel expenses (at 25p per mile).
The Web Usability Partnership is
a research organisation specialising in making our clients
web sites
more effective
We undertake web site testing for Government and private
sector organisation websites and we recruit people to help
test the sites.
On this occasion, we have been commissioned by the Environment
Agency to help them review their website. They're looking
at re-developing their website, and homeowners with environmental
issues are considered to be one of their key target audiences,
so they're interested to get their perspective of what information
would be useful to them on their website (e.g. those living
in flood risk areas, near pylons or landfill sites, near
factories, etc).
This will involve attending WUP Studios
in Chippenham (at our office address – details below
left) and spending one hour giving feedback on a very early
stage prototype website to help with the website redevelopment.
There's no prep work in advance, and no subsequent commitments.
Why should anyone want to do this? Well:
We
will pay the tester £50.00 to participate
and travel expenses (at 25p per mile).
It will be helping to improve a web site that should be valuable
to people like the testers.
And it's quite fun!
Research will take place during the daytime (between 9am
and 4.30pm) on Thursday 22nd March and Friday 23rd March
2007 – at a pre-arranged time convenient to the participant.
If you or someone you know falls into this category (i.e.
you live in a flood risk area, near pylons or landfill sites
or near a factory) and would be interested in participating
in this research, please send me an email and we will discuss
further.
