WILTSHIRE COUNTY-COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

1. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A3102 CALNE ROAD- LYNEHAM) (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2006
2. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, LYNEHAM) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2006
3. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (A3102, HILMARTON AND LYNEHAM) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2006

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Wiltshire County Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be as follows:

Order 1
The County of Wilts (Restricted Roads) (No. 2) Order 1961 and The County of Wilts (Restricted Roads) (No. 16) Order 1966 will be revoked and re-enacted for administrative purposes.

Order 2
To impose a 40mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:

A3102 - From a point 12 metres east of the boundary between 72 and 73 Southview, The Green to a point 195 metres south west of the junction with Bowds Lane. (Second image from top)

A3102 - From a point 43 metres south west of its junction with Slessor Road to a point 80 metres south west of its junction with Melsome Road. (4th image from top)

Order 3
The County of Wiltshire (A3102, Hilmarton and Lyneham) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 1999 will be revoked and re-enacted in part to take account of the new 40mph speed limit. (Third image from top)

Deposit copies of the Orders, plans and the County Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of the Director of Environmental Services, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours.

Objections to or support for the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made should be sent in writing to reach the undersigned by 29 August 2006 quoting reference KAD/TRO/LYNE.

Data Protection Act 1998 - Requirement
The names and addresses of anyone writing in may be made available for public inspection and will be included in a Report that may be published on the WCC Website, unless the individuals concerned state, in writing, their objection to their names and addresses being made so available or being included in the publication.
