LINK 6 Good Neighbour Scheme offers a full “good neighbour” service which goes beyond just driving clients to / from medical appointments.

We can also help to make your life more bearable and enjoyable by being neighbourly, in other words, doing things like:-

Dropping in for a chat
Carrying out small DIY jobs in the house
Doing a bit of sewing
Walking the dog
Reading a book or newspaper
Accompanying people on a walk

It is not just the elderly – anybody who needs our help can ask and we will try to help.  We do operate a voluntary donation scheme to help with our running costs.

If you need our help, please ring 01249 892558, Monday – Friday between 10am to 4pm. Please be prepared to leave an answerphone message.

We are looking for another co-ordinator to join our team who answer the phone, and more volunteers. Do you have a few hours to spare? This would particularly suit somebody who is stuck at home and cannot get out much.
